6.1. Description of a design
On the engine UEPA-331 the DAAZ-2140-1107010-70 carburetor, and on the VAZ-2106 engine — the DAAZ-2107-1107010 carburetor is installed.

Carburetors have almost identical design (Ozone type) and differ only with the pneumatic valve device ECI (economizer of compulsory idling), the drive of a butterfly valve of the second camera (at the carburetor 2140-1107010-70 it mechanical, and at the carburetor 2107-1107010 — pneumatic) and Taree-rovochnymi with data (see the table).

The carburetor - emulsion type with the falling stream of gas mixture and pneumatic braking of fuel, two-chamber with consecutive opening of butterfly valves. Has the balanced float-operated camera, the main dosing systems, the concentrating device (эконостат), the autonomous system of idling (ASI) with the economizer of compulsory idling (ECI), transitional systems of the first and second cameras, the diaphragm accelerating pump, the spool-type device of a suction of crankcase gases for a butterfly valve of the first camera. Fuel moves in the carburetor via the mesh filter and the needle valve. The last supports the set fuel level in the float-operated camera.
From the float-operated camera fuel arrives through the main fuel jets (the first and second cameras) of N emulsion wells and emulsion tubes where mixes up with the air passing through the main air jets. Then through sprays the fuel-air emulsion gets to small and big diffusers of the carburetor.
The system of idling selects fuel from an emulsion well after the main fuel jet of the first camera. Fuel passes through a fuel jet of idling then mixes up with air from the channel from an air jet of idling and from openings of transitional system of the first camera. The formed emulsion moves through the opening blocked by the quality screw to the ASHH ring spray. The size of a crack of a spray is regulated by the screw of quantity (speed}.
At partial opening of butterfly valves (before inclusion in work of the main dosing systems) fuel-air mix comes to cameras through transitional openings.
Ekonostat provides additional intake of fuel directly from the float-operated camera (through fuel, air and emulsion jets and a spray of an ekonostat) in the second camera. Ekonostat gets into gear on the modes of the maximum power, in addition enriching working mix. The accelerating pump — diaphragm type, with the mechanical drive from an axis of a butterfly valve of the first camera through a cam. When opening a butterfly valve the cam through a roller influences the lever which, in turn, influences a diaphragm. The portion of fuel through a spray is injected into the first camera of the carburetor, enriching gas mixture on the dispersal modes. The pump is supplied with two ball valves. One valve — inlet — is located in the channel connecting the float-operated camera with a cavity of the accelerating pump; it opens at its filling with fuel (the pedal of "gas" is released and the returnable spring takes away a diaphragm back) and is closed when forcing fuel. Other valve — delivery — is located in the spray screw case; it opens under pressure of the forced fuel and is closed under the influence of a body weight as soon as supply of fuel stops. It prevents a fuel effluence from channels and an air suction. Excess fuel when forcing flows back in the float-operated camera through perepuskny a jet. Productivity of the pump depends on a profile of a cam, diameter of a perepuskny jet, a profile and length of the adjusting needle screwed in a well of a perepuskny jet; in use the pump is not subject to adjustment.
The starting arrangement consists of the air gate, a control lever the air gate, telescopic draft, draft of the drive of a butterfly valve, the diaphragm mechanism and the drive of control of the air gate. At a pulling of the handle of the drive ("suction") a trekhplechy control lever the air gate, turning counterclockwise, through telescopic draft influences the air gate and closes it. At the same time, influencing draft of the drive of a butterfly valve, the lever slightly opens a butterfly valve of the first camera on a starting gap With (see fig.). At the first flashes depression behind a butterfly valve is transferred in cylinders for a diaphragm which through a rod influences draft of the air gate, slightly opening it. Opening of the gate under the influence of depression is also promoted by the provision of its axis (with shift, concerning an axis of the first camera). The maximum size of opening of the air gate (starting gap) is regulated by the persistent screw of a diaphragm located under the screw cap.
