18.8. Removal of the signaling device

At malfunction of the signaling device (loss of mobility of pistons) we replace it new.

We remove a broad tank of the cooling system from a seat and, trying not to incline it that liquid did not flow out, we take aside.

We disconnect a wire from the switch of the control alarm lamp of critical condition of the brake system.

Cap key "on 14" we turn out the switch from the case of the signaling device...

... also we take out the switch.

We check operability of the signaling device.

We insert a core with a diameter of 2-3 mm into the opened opening against the stop in a ball.

If the ball is in a piston pro-point, we ask the assistant to press a pedal of a brake and slowly we unscrew the union of one of contours of the brake system on the main brake cylinder. At the same time the contour will become depressurized, pressure in it decreases and pistons of the signaling device have to move, having moved a ball up. If it does not occur, we wrap the union on the main brake cylinder and we will depressurize the second contour, again checking mobility of pistons. We replace the faulty device new — together with the switch of a control lamp. For this purpose...

... a special key "on 10", covering five sides, we unscrew unions of five brake tubes...

... also we bring them out of the case of the signaling device.

It is desirable to muffle the ends of tubes protective caps of unions of pumping of wheel cylinders that brake fluid did not follow.

Key "on 10" we turn off a bolt of fastening of the signaling device to the left mudguard of a body...

... also we remove it.

We install the signaling device in the return sequence and we pump over the brake system (see. "Pumping of brakes").
