Description of a design
The Izh-2126 transmission can be aggregated as with the engine UEPA-331, so I with the VAZ-2106 engine. The transmission intended for installation complete with the engine UEPA-331 in comparison with the transmission installed with the VAZ-2106 engine has shorter main shaft and large vents under a stupiia of the conducted lisk of coupling.
To a case of coupling of the engine UEPA-331 the transmission fastens directly, and to a case of coupling of the VAZ-2106 engine — through a pro-rate (the device of knot is shown in the subsection "Replacement of an Epiploon of a Main Shaft"). The pro-rate joint with a case of the transmission is condensed with laying, and the pro-rate joint with a case of coupling of laying has no. In a pro-rate opening under a main shaft of the transmission the epiploon and a spring ring are established. Persistent rings of the forward bearing of the intermediate and back bearing primary shaft of the transmission aggregated with the engine VAZ are in addition recorded by a bolt with a washer. In this regard transmissions for different modifications of the Izh-2126 car are not interchanged. In need of installation of one box instead of another it is necessary to sort completely it for replacement of a main shaft. For the rest designs of transmissions are similar.

The transmission — mechanical, trekhvalny, five-step (has five transfers of the forward course and one - back). All transfers of the forward course are synchronized. The mechanism of gear shifting is mounted in the top cover of the transmission. Case details of a box — a case, back and top covers - are cast from aluminum alloy and pulled together among themselves with bolts and hairpins with nuts. Connections are condensed with laying (at repair it is possible to use sealant). For improvement of the heat sink a surface of a case of the transmission of an orebren.
For ensuring coaxiality of a bent shaft of the engine and a main shaft of the transmission cases of coupling of engines UEPA-331 and VAZ-2106 are aligned concerning the block of cylinders by two plugs (under them pro-points in two lower fixing openings of the block of cylinders and a case of coupling are executed).
The case of coupling of the VAZ-2106 engine is also centered with the transmission through a cylindrical ledge of a pro-rate, coaxial with a main shaft and entering a coupling case pro-point
On a back cover of the transmission the back support of the power unit is established. It fastens to a cross-piece, and a cross-piece — to body floor arms.
In a case of the transmission the jellied (control) opening, and below — drain is on the left side located. Openings are closed by traffic jams with a conic carving. In the transmission fill in gearbox oil with viscosity from 75W80 to 85W90 and GL-4 is not lower than a class of quality. Details of the transmission are greased with spraying. Exits of primary and secondary shaft are condensed with epiploons. The epiploon of a main shaft is established in a coupling case (a box with the UZAM-331 engine) or in having put down (a box with the VAZ-2106 engine), and secondary — in a back cover of the transmission.
For ventilation of the transmission the opening in primary serves a shaft.
In the transmission three shaft: primary, secondary and intermediate.
The main shaft leans on two ball bearings — in a back end face of a bent shaft and in a forward wall of a case of the transmission (the last perceives the main part of loading). In an opening of a back end face of a main shaft the needle bearing which is a forward support of a secondary shaft and providing coaxiality of shaft is installed. Other end the secondary shaft leans on the ball bearing installed in a back wall of a case of the transmission.
The intermediate shaft rotates in two bearings located in transmission case walls: forward — roller, back — two-row ball. Internal rings of bearings are fixed on a shaft by bolts with washers. The bolt of the back bearing has the left carving.
The axis of an intermediate gear wheel of a backing is pressed to lobbies konpy in inflow of the lower part of a case of the transmission, back - in a case wall. The intermediate gear wheel of a backing rotates on the two-row needle bearing.
The main shaft has two gear wreaths. Kosozuby of a venea is in continuous gearing with a forward gear wheel of an intermediate shaft (thus, these shaft always rotate together). The Pryamozuby wreath of a main shaft yaapyatsya by a transfer synchronizer IV wreath (at its inclusion the torque is transferred directly from a main shaft to secondary, passing intermediate therefore this broadcast is often called "straight line").
The intermediate shaft represents the block from five kosozuby gear wheels and one pryamozuby a backing. At inclusion of any transfer of the forward course, except IV, the torque is transferred to a secondary shaft through intermediate. For inclusion of transfer of a backing it is necessary to enter an intermediate gear wheel into gearing with the coupling gear wheel and a backing on secondary to a shaft and with the leading gear wheel of an intermediate shaft. Gear wheels of an intermediate shaft are located in the following order (from a forward part): a gear wheel of continuous gearing with a main shaft, gear wheels of III, V, II, a backing and the I transfers.
On secondary to a shaft the conducted gear wheels of III are located. V, II transfers, the backing coupling gear wheel, the conducted gear wheel of the I transfer and synchronizers. The conducted gear wheels of transfers of the forward course freely rotate on a shaft and are in continuous gearing with the corresponding gear wheels of an intermediate shaft. Gear wheels of I and II transfers rotate on two-row needle bearings, gear wheels III and V transfers — on shaft necks. The gear wheel of a backing is executed at the same time with the coupling of the synchronizer I and II of transfers which nave is rigidly fixed on a shaft by a spline. At the same time with kosozuby gear wheels of transfers of the forward course wreaths of their synchronizers — pryamozuby gear wheels of smaller diameter are executed. They are directed towards the corresponding synchronizer (III, I, V — forward. II \back). On the back end of a secondary shaft the nut fixed a flange of the elastic coupling.
The synchronizer consists of the nave which is rigidly fixed on secondary to a shaft, the sliding coupling, a spring cutting ring and the blocking ring. Naves of synchronizers III-IV and V of transfers enter three internal ledges longitudinal grooves on secondary to a shaft, and the nave of I—II synchronizers of transfers is kept by a spline. On an external surface of naves there are vents on which the sliding couplings move. On couplings there are bores which forks of rods of gear shifting enter. On a nave three ledges entering grooves of a gear wreath of the blocking ring are executed. Between the blocking ring and a nave of the synchronizer the spring cutting ring is established. Three ledges passing through grooves on a nave, the ring interacts with the sliding coupling.
The drive of control of the transmission consists of the lever of gear shifting and a spherical support.
The mechanism of gear shifting is located in the top cover of the transmission and consists of four rods with forks. Forks of inclusion of transfers of the forward course enter bores of the sliding couplings of synchronizers, and a fork of inclusion of a backing - a finger of the lever which the cracker enters bore on an intermediate gear wheel.
In channels of the top cover of the transmission the clamps consisting of balls and springs are located. Under the influence of springs balls enter holes of rods, preventing spontaneous switching off of transfers. The blocking device protecting the transmission from simultaneous inclusion of two transfers consists of two pushers and three balls. Pushers are in openings of rods of inclusion III-IV and V transfers, and balls - in channels of a cover between nests under rods.
In the left back part of the top cover of the transmission will screw the switch of lamps of a backing.
