IZH 2126
Izh-2126 — the Russian car of a small class, being issued Izhavto during the period from 1990 to 2005.Initially the car was called "Orbit", but later was renamed as the Orbit trademark was already registered abroad.
The instrument guard is borrowed from the 41st Muscovite, and a headlight and a wheel — at "eight" (the wheel from "ten" was put later) — unification on spare parts with other domestic cars simplified operation, but gave Izhu a type of peculiar "motley crew" that did not do well to image. Besides, the large angular VAZ-2108 headlights indifferently fitted into the front of "Izha" which is initially calculated on low roundish block headlights.
Coupling drive hydraulic. The forward suspension bracket — racks like McPherson, back — is almost similar to Zhiguli.
Krupnoseriyno "Ode" was issued with three types of engines — VAZ-2106 1.6l, UZAM-3317 1.7l and UZAM-3314 1.8l. Also small-scale or skilled front and all-wheel drive versions of the car with various engines were issued (VAZ 21084, 2106, 21213, 2130, 21214, Hyundai G4GM of the Beta family, of 1.8 liters, to two-liter vpryskovy BONDS-248i). Small-scale modification of cars was made by the Izhevsk company "Norma Car". Also, the plant released all-wheel drive version 2126 — 060 with the VAZ-21213 engine, put on the conveyor according to technical documentation of "Norma Car" with minor changes of a design.
In 2003 the car received the original dashboard.
In 2004 the combination of devices was modernized and received one liquid-crystal display. Also the upholstery of salon was updated — it became two-color: gray bottom, black top. External restyling which according to the available information had to bring in shape of the car new a bumper under color of a body, moldings on a sidewall, and also the narrow headlights borrowed from VAZs of the "thirteenth" family prepared.
On July 1, 2005 all IZh-2126 family was laid off.
